Founded in 1902 by Rev. Edgar J. Helms, Goodwill Industries of North Georgia has a rich history of transforming lives through job training and employment services. Helms collected used goods from wealthier neighborhoods and provided training to those in need, creating a sustainable model of support. This innovative approach has evolved into a powerful nonprofit organization that serves hundreds of thousands each year.
