Good Neighbors Animal Rescue was established in 2015 to unite neighbors in Fort Worth, Texas, in the mission to save pets and strays. Initially focused on the Fairmount and Ryan Place neighborhoods, GNAR expanded its reach to the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2016 and further to Houston in 2018. This all-volunteer organization thrives on community support to provide essential resources for animals in need.
GNAR plays a vital role in keeping animals out of overcrowded high-kill shelters by offering spaying, neutering, and vaccination services. Almost every cent of donations is directed towards medical expenses for rescued pets.
