Our Story

Established on December 1, 1891, Goldsboro was the second black incorporated city in the United States. The Goldsboro Museum plays a vital role in showcasing and preserving the history, heritage, and culture of Goldsboro, Florida. The Francis Oliver Cultural Arts and Goldsboro Welcome Center features exhibits from local artists in various disciplines, including art, dance, music, and theatre. This center also hosts live author readings and performances, enriching the community's cultural landscape.

Our Impact

The Heritage and Art Garden connects citizens to Goldsboro's agricultural roots while supporting the farm-to-table initiative. This organic garden, free from pesticides and chemicals, provides fresh fruits and vegetables to the community at no cost, while also offering STEAM education to inspire future generations.
