Our Story

Golden Rainbow is a dedicated non-profit organization co-founded in 1987 by Bree Burgess and Peter Todd. Established by members of the Las Vegas entertainment industry, it was created to address the urgent need for housing and support for individuals living with HIV/AIDS during a time of fear and stigma. The organization began with a benefit show called 'Golden Rainbow' to raise funds for shelter, which evolved into the annual 'Ribbon of Life' fundraiser. Over the years, Golden Rainbow has expanded its services to include emergency financial assistance, affordable housing, and health education for those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Golden Rainbow continues to provide affordable and comfortable housing for men, women, and children who are HIV/AIDS infected or affected.
