Our Story
The Golden Gate STEM Fair was established in 2017 to honor and replace the San Francisco Bay Area Science Fair. This initiative is dedicated to celebrating student research in STEM fields, particularly for those in underserved neighborhoods. Led by Marcus Wojtkowiak, the fair provides a vital platform for students to present their innovative projects and receive constructive feedback from experienced scientists.
Impact
Each year, the Golden Gate STEM Fair impacts over 70,000 middle and high school students in the San Francisco Bay Area, allowing them to showcase their science projects. Many participants advance to local competitions, gaining recognition and awards for their hard work and creativity.
