Our Story
The GO Project believes that sustained, individualized, and responsive academic intervention is essential for closing achievement gaps among New York City public school students. Founded in 1968, this organization has evolved from a small group of dedicated volunteers serving just 30 students on the Lower East Side into a robust entity impacting over 700 students citywide with a budget of $3 million.
