Our Story

In 1991, John Thomas began his journey of recovery at Teen Challenge, overcoming eighteen years of addiction to heroin, crack, and alcohol. While John found healing, his wife Sharon faced her own struggles, dealing with health issues and emotional turmoil. Their separation allowed God to work in Sharon's life, leading her to healing and hope. In 1997, they founded Glorybound to support families affected by substance abuse. After John's passing in 2006 and Sharon's in 2022, their legacy continues through the dedicated efforts of their family and supporters.
