In June 2004, GlobalCures was founded by Vidula Sukhatme and Vikas Sukhatme after a close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. They recognized a significant gap in the development of promising therapies that could not be patented, leading to their establishment of this nonprofit organization. GlobalCures is dedicated to identifying, evaluating, and developing innovative medical therapies for cancer patients that would otherwise remain unexplored due to financial constraints.
