Founded in 2007 by Lori Pappas, Global Team for Local Initiatives (GTLI) emerged from a deep commitment to combat poverty in Africa. After witnessing the dire conditions during her travels, Lori harnessed her entrepreneurial spirit to create sustainable solutions tailored to local cultures. GTLI collaborates closely with communities, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Impact

Since 2009, GTLI has positively impacted over 75,000 indigenous people in Ethiopia, focusing on pastoralist tribes. By engaging in meaningful dialogue, GTLI helps communities address their challenges and fosters sustainable, healthy living.
