Our Story

In 1998, four college friends embarked on a mission to connect young people across the globe through innovative video conferencing technology. This initiative aimed to bridge cultural gaps and foster meaningful dialogue among youth from diverse backgrounds. From Rwanda to Syria, these pioneers ventured into regions affected by conflict, amplifying the voices of those who had experienced war and loss. By connecting students from different corners of the world, they transformed perceptions and nurtured empathy, laying the foundation for what is now known as Global Nomads Group.

Impact

Each year, Global Nomads Group reaches thousands of youth participants worldwide. An impressive 92% of participants report using their newfound knowledge to positively impact their communities. Additionally, 95% express a better appreciation for cultural, ethnic, and religious differences, while 98% feel a heightened sense of belonging.
