Our Story
In 2006, Dr. Naomi Johnson Booker was called to transform a failing charter school in Philadelphia. Renamed Global Leadership Academy Schools (GLA), the institution now offers a Global Studies and Leadership curriculum, providing students with opportunities to travel and learn beyond their immediate environment.
Impact
Over the past 15 years, GLA has fostered a culture of empowerment for every child. With a dedicated staff, the school has developed enriching curriculums and travel experiences that inspire inner-city scholars to see the world as their oyster.
