Our Story
Global Hope began in Romania in 1996 when Randy and Sue Jessen, a dedicated Methodist pastor and his wife, led volunteers to care for orphaned infants. Witnessing the dire conditions of malnourished children who had learned not to cry, they were inspired to create a nurturing environment. In 1999, the first children’s home was established in Arad, Romania, marking the beginning of a transformative journey.
Our Impact
Since its inception, Global Hope has provided Christ-centered care to over 400 orphaned and vulnerable children across Romania, Kenya, and India. Through family-like group homes and foster families, children are given the opportunity to thrive in mind, body, and spirit.
