Global Girl Media (GGM) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training female-identifying and gender-expansive youth, ages 15-25, from resource-poor communities. Founded in 2010, GGM operates in South Africa, Kosovo, Chicago, Los Angeles, Greece, London, and the Bay Area, providing these young individuals with the skills to produce and distribute their own digital media stories.

By empowering young women to share their often-overlooked perspectives, GGM promotes freedom of expression and strengthens journalism that addresses marginalized voices. With training in 10 countries, many graduates pursue careers in media and journalism.
