Our Story

The Global Alliance of Community Science Workshops was founded in 1991 by Dan Sudran in the vibrant Mission district of San Francisco. This organization creates safe spaces for underserved children to explore science and engineering through engaging, hands-on projects. With a successful model in place, GACSW has expanded to seven cities and continues to grow, reaching more children every day.

Impact

Community Science Workshops provide underserved kids with the opportunity to explore their curiosity through science, fostering a greater understanding and engagement with the world around them.
