Founded in 2002, Glass Art Kalamazoo is a vibrant nonprofit community-access glass arts and education center located in the Park Trades Center, downtown Kalamazoo. This organization is dedicated to enriching the community by providing exceptional experiences in glass art, from engaging classes to captivating live demonstrations.

Making an Impact Through Education

Since its re-launch, GAK has educated over 7,000 students in glass art classes, ranging from beginner to advanced workshops. Additionally, more than 17,000 individuals have been introduced to the beauty of glass art through monthly Art Hop demonstrations. The Journey Beads program has created over 25,000 beads for children facing serious illnesses, showcasing the profound impact of art on healing.
