Our Story

The Glades Initiative was established in 2002 to address the pressing health and human service needs of the western Palm Beach County community. Recognizing a gap in local resources, the organization was formed to coordinate services and encourage collaboration among health and human service providers. With a commitment to the motto, 'Our people are our fortune,' The Glades Initiative works tirelessly to connect residents with the support they need to thrive.

Impact

Each month, The Glades Initiative's food program serves approximately 5,000 individuals, ensuring that those in need have access to nutritious food through a network of partner agencies, pantries, and soup kitchens.
