Our Story
The Giving Tree Foundation was founded by four local moms who were determined to find better fundraising solutions for schools. Frustrated with traditional methods yielding minimal results, they discovered the nonprofit resale thrift store model. This innovative approach led to the opening of The Giving Tree in August 2013, providing essential support to 21 K-12 schools in Wake Forest and Youngsville, NC.

In less than 9 years, The Giving Tree has donated over $200,000 back to local schools, enhancing educational, enrichment, and extracurricular programs for students.
