Our Story

Giving The Glam is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Massachusetts, founded in 2014 by philanthropist Maristela Rapo and her daughter Alexis Rapo. The organization was born from a desire to help underserved urban and suburban high school seniors experience the joy of prom by providing them with the necessary attire and accessories. Inspired by their own experiences, the founders aim to ensure that every student can participate in this significant rite of passage with dignity.
