Our Story

Over 26 years ago, Lynne Corry faced homelessness and addiction. Her journey to recovery began at a mother and child residential treatment program, where she found hope and support. In 1997, Lynne founded Giving Friends, an organization dedicated to helping vulnerable families in underserved communities across the metropolitan New York City area. Managed by devoted volunteers, Giving Friends relies solely on the generosity of donors to deliver essential gifts and necessities to those in need.

Our Impact

The organization hand-delivers gifts of new toys, clothing, school supplies, and infant care needs during the holiday season and throughout the year, ensuring that families have the essentials they need.
