Our Story

GIVE REFUGEES A CHANCE, known as GRACE, is a dedicated coalition of refugees and advocates committed to the progress and inclusion of refugees in their new homes. Located in Cuenca, Ecuador, GRACE operates the Grace Clinic, where a network of compassionate doctors provides essential medical services free of charge to refugees. What sets GRACE apart is its belief in the competency and dignity of refugees, who fully staff the clinic and are actively involved in decision-making processes.

Impact

In just two years, GRACE has successfully placed over 40 refugees in jobs throughout Cuenca, while also running the city’s largest free clothing bank. By collaborating with local businesses, GRACE helps refugees find meaningful employment, fostering self-sufficiency and community integration.
