Girls Rock! Chicago

Our Story

Founded in 2005, Girls Rock! Chicago emerged from the collaboration of two passionate groups dedicated to empowering young girls through music. With a strong board and community support, the first camp was held in 2006 at Roosevelt University, welcoming 16 enthusiastic campers.

Impact

Girls Rock! Chicago is dedicated to educating girls and transgender and gender non-conforming youth in the musical arts. This initiative fosters self-expression and creativity, providing access to music education that is often overlooked.
