Founded in 1864, Girls Inc. has a rich history of serving girls and young women, particularly in the aftermath of the Civil War. Since 1961, Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey has been dedicated to inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold. With a focus on leadership development, community action, STEAM education, early literacy, media literacy, and healthy decision-making, this organization empowers girls to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
