Girls Garage is a pioneering nonprofit design and construction school for girls and gender-expansive youth aged 9-18, founded in 2013. Located in the United States, it is the first-ever workshop dedicated to empowering these youth through hands-on learning in carpentry, welding, architecture, engineering, and activist art.

Making a Lasting Impact

Since its inception, Girls Garage has served 680 youth, completing 190 impactful projects. With 100% of programs offered at no cost, the organization ensures that financial barriers do not hinder access to education, especially for the 82% of participants who identify as youth of color.
