Empowering Girls Through Construction
Founded by carpenter Katie Hughes, Girls Build™ aims to change the landscape of construction by teaching girls aged 8-14 essential building skills. What began in 2016 with just 60 participants has blossomed into a thriving program that empowers nearly 500 girls each summer through hands-on camps.
Impacting Lives
Since inception, over 3,200 girls have benefited from our summer camps and after-school programs, with more than 735 scholarships awarded and free attendance provided for over 125 foster care children.
