Our Story

Juliette Gordon Low had a dream. In March 1912, she gathered a group of girls in Savannah, Georgia, igniting a movement that would empower girls to explore new possibilities and the wonders of the world around them. Known affectionately as "Daisy," she inspired these first Girl Scouts to blaze trails, redefine their potential, and embrace adventure. Over a century later, the Girl Scout Movement has grown to nearly 2 million girl members and over 50 million alums, all united by a spirit of lifelong friendship and a commitment to making the world a better place.

Impact

Investing in Girl Scouts means investing in a brighter, stronger community. Through scholarships, events like Women of Distinction, and initiatives such as Winter Wonderland and the Food, Wine and Beer Festival, the organization supports girls in their journey to leadership and service.
