Girl Plus Environment

Our Story

Founded in 2019, Girl Plus Environment is a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating, engaging, and empowering Black and Brown girls, women, and non-binary individuals to advocate for climate and environmental justice in their communities. By addressing the lack of awareness surrounding these critical issues, GPE aims to include those traditionally excluded from climate discussions.

Our Impact

GPE is committed to fostering a generation of activists whose voices will resonate in discussions that shape their communities. With a growing community of over 1,300 individuals, the organization is on track to double this number by the end of 2023.
