The Gift of Chess began in early 2021, aiming to distribute 10,000 chess sets to public school students in New York City during the pandemic. This initiative has since expanded globally, focusing on education, prison outreach, and refugee support, with a goal of distributing 1,000,000 chess sets by 2030.

Impact

To date, The Gift of Chess has secured 132,000 chess sets for distribution, impacting over 30 countries. By leveraging chess as a low-cost educational tool, the organization fosters human potential and builds meaningful connections.
