Our Story

The Gettysburg Community Soup Kitchen began as an outreach project of the Prince of Peace Church in 1991, serving simple meals to 307 individuals. Since its incorporation in 1996, it has grown to become a vital resource for the community, now operating seven days a week and adapting services to meet the needs of those it serves.

For over 30 years, the Soup Kitchen has been a cornerstone of food security in Gettysburg, providing access to quality, nutritious meals for those in need.
