Founded by Ms. Adina B. Peyton, GRAMI emerged from a personal tragedy when her son was shot 16 times during a suicidal standoff with law enforcement on November 17, 2020. This heartbreaking experience ignited a passion for changing the cultural mindset towards mental illness and providing essential education and resources to First Responders.
