Our Story

The German School of Fremont was founded in 1963 by Alfred and Anna Marie Kaufmann, who began teaching the German language to a small class of eight students in their home. Recognizing the importance of language in communication and cultural understanding, the school quickly grew, moving from their living room to Logan Junior High. Over the years, the school has adapted to changes in the community while maintaining its commitment to providing quality language education and fostering a sense of community among its students.

Our Impact

The German School of Fremont provides high-quality language education to learners of all ages, fostering a love for the German language and culture, and empowering students to achieve their personal and professional goals.
