Our Story

Georgia STAND-UP, founded in 2004 by Deborah Scott, is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Black women and families in Georgia. Through advocacy, education, and community organizing, the organization inspires meaningful civic engagement and promotes equitable access to essential services.

Impact

By focusing on civic education, voter registration, and leadership training, Georgia STAND-UP empowers Black voters in metro Atlanta and surrounding counties, fostering a politically active community.
