About the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence

For nearly 40 years, the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV) has been at the forefront of the fight against domestic violence in Georgia. Established in 1980, GCADV emerged from the urgent need for a unified network of domestic violence agencies to enhance services for victims, raise public awareness, and advocate for essential legislation. With a dedicated team based in Decatur, Georgia, GCADV works tirelessly to create social change and eliminate domestic violence through comprehensive training, legislative advocacy, and support for survivors.

Impact of GCADV

GCADV engages communities and organizations across Georgia to foster change in the prevention and response to domestic violence. By building the capacity of member organizations and partners, GCADV ensures that survivors and their children receive safe, compassionate, and accessible services.
