The Georgia Alzheimer’s Foundation was founded in May 2020 by Robert “Bobby” S. Kaufmann, MD, Sam W. Austin, and Andrea Mickelson, driven by personal experiences with Alzheimer’s disease. Their dedication has led to raising over $10 million through annual golf tournaments, focusing on innovative research and support for individuals affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
