Founded in 2002 by breast cancer survivor Randi Passoff, the Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer, formerly known as It’s the Journey, produces the Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. This unique event offers a kinder and gentler approach to fundraising, covering 30 miles over 2 days with participants enjoying hotel accommodations. Most importantly, funds raised in Georgia stay in Georgia, directly benefiting local communities.
