Our Story
Georgetown Backpack Buddies began as a pilot program by the Georgetown Ministerial Alliance in 2009, starting with just 50 children. Today, it has grown to support over 1,000 children, with a growth rate of approximately 20% each school year.
Impact
Currently, over 1,000 students receive weekend packs containing 9-10 nutritious, nonperishable food items, ensuring they are nourished and ready to learn.
