Our Story

Gennesaret Free Clinics was founded in 1988 by Dr. James A. Trippi, who recognized the urgent need for medical care among the homeless while volunteering at a soup kitchen. This initiative led to the establishment of the first nonprofit in Indianapolis dedicated to offering quality healthcare regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

Impact

Since its inception, Gennesaret Free Clinics has served thousands of medically underserved individuals in Indianapolis, disrupting poverty by providing compassionate, patient-centered healthcare at no cost.
