Our Story
The Geneva Music Festival was founded in 2011 by Geneva native and violinist Geoffrey Herd, initially as a weekend of chamber music for the local community. Over the years, the festival has evolved into a four-week celebration of music, featuring world-class musicians and a diverse range of genres including jazz, contemporary, and bluegrass. Now in its 12th season, the festival has become a hallmark event for Geneva and the Finger Lakes, attracting audiences to experience exceptional performances in May and June.
