Empowering Families Through Community Engagement
Generations United was founded by Angie Ibarra, who, after 25 years in the telecommunications industry, dedicated her life to uplifting families in the Redwood City community. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by many, Angie initiated an after-school program at Hoover Elementary School in 2012, which blossomed into Generations United. Today, this nonprofit organization mobilizes over 500 volunteers and serves more than 1,000 children and their families, providing essential academic enrichment and wellness programs.
Making a Lasting Impact
Generations United empowers children and families in Redwood City and North Fair Oaks to reach their full potential through academic enrichment, wellness programs, and community support.
