Camp Lilac

Our Story

In the summer of 2016, a vision was born when Ann and JodiLyn recognized the need for a camp dedicated to trans and gender diverse teens in Ohio. Their passion ignited a collaborative effort, leading to the establishment of Camp Lilac. The first camp in 2017 welcomed 16 campers, and since then, it has blossomed into a vibrant community, adapting to challenges and expanding its offerings.

Impact

Camp Lilac has made a significant impact, providing over $75,000 in need-based financial aid since 2023. This ensures that financial barriers do not prevent trans and gender diverse youth from attending. The camp has grown from 16 campers in its inaugural year to over 150 in 2023, reflecting the increasing demand for such a supportive environment.
