Geeking Out Kids of Color (GOKiC) began in 2016 in Seattle, driven by a group of friends passionate about strengthening their communities. By integrating engineering education with a focus on gender and racial equality, GOKiC aims to empower children of color to reach their full potential through technology and mentorship.
GOKiC has positively impacted over 500 children, developed 16 innovative curriculum designs, and partnered with 4 school districts to bridge the digital literacy gap for BIPOC youth.
