Founded in 1904 by civic-minded citizens William H. and Betsey Gaylord, the Gaylord Memorial Library stands as a testament to community spirit. Built on the site of a former cemetery, this cherished library has evolved over the years, operating independently and as a branch of the South Hadley Public Library. Thanks to the dedication of generous donors and volunteers, it continues to serve the community with pride.
