Our Story
The Gavin Foundation was founded in South Boston in 1963 to provide substance abuse treatment as an alternative to incarceration for high-risk probationers. Dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in recovery, the foundation offers addiction prevention, treatment, and support through various nonprofit programs. Over the years, it has grown to meet the evolving needs of individuals and families affected by substance abuse, maintaining a steadfast mission of restoring dignity through education and support.
