The Gateway to the Army Association is dedicated to fostering patriotism and respect for the U.S. Army. Established in South Carolina, the organization’s first initiative was to commemorate Fort Jackson’s centennial in 2017 by creating a monument and park for military gatherings.

Impact

Fort Jackson contributes significantly to the local economy, generating $2.012 billion and supporting nearly 20,000 jobs. The Centennial Park aims to enhance the quality of life for soldiers, their families, and the surrounding community.
