Gateway Domestic Violence Center

Domestic Violence Prevention

Our Story

In the early 1980s, a group of dedicated community leaders recognized the alarming rise of domestic violence and took action. They founded Gateway House, now known as Gateway Domestic Violence Center, in October 1982. Over the years, Gateway has expanded its programs and facilities, but the unwavering commitment of the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and donors to combat domestic violence in Hall County remains steadfast.
