The Gaston Young Guns Shooting Sports Team was founded in 2007 by Phil Digh, who sought a public skeet team for his son. Starting with just three youth members, the team has grown significantly, becoming a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2009. Today, nearly 50 young athletes proudly represent the Gaston Young Guns, excelling in responsible shooting sports.
Gaston Young Guns athletes have achieved remarkable success in state competitions and have earned national recognition, including placements on the NC Junior All-State Skeet team. The team instills values of discipline and respect, ensuring a positive environment for all members.
