Our Story

Founded in 1887, Gaston Avenue Baptist Church grew to a membership of over 7,000, renowned for its global mission work. In 2012, the church transformed into Gaston Christian Center, focusing on serving refugees and immigrants in Dallas. By collaborating with civic organizations, GCC has become a vibrant hub for multi-ethnic congregations and essential community services.

Located at 8515 Greenville Avenue, GCC provides a 66,000-square-foot facility that houses various non-profits, allowing them to thrive and serve the diverse needs of the community. From medical and dental services for the uninsured to ESL and computer training, GCC is dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of its neighbors.

Impact

Gaston Christian Center has successfully transformed a former church property into a collaborative space for over 23,000 non-profits in North Texas. This initiative has enabled organizations to allocate more of their funds towards their missions rather than overhead costs, significantly enhancing their ability to serve the community.
