Our Story

The Garland Trust Association was founded by Yale College alumni who cherish the traditions of social, political, and intellectual engagement. By sponsoring educational initiatives, the GTA creates a vibrant space for respectful debate within the Yale community.

Impact

Since 2014, generous donations from nearly 100 alumni have enabled the GTA to secure a loan for purchasing and renovating a property dedicated to debate activities.
