Our Story

Founded in 2015 by Carol Bauer, Garden of Health Inc. emerged from a personal journey. Motivated by her daughter's struggles with undiagnosed celiac disease, Carol recognized a critical gap in allergen-friendly food availability at local food pantries. This realization sparked the creation of a nonprofit dedicated to supplying healthy, safe food for low-income families, especially those with dietary restrictions. Starting with community gardens, the organization has now expanded its reach to support over 35 food pantries across Montgomery and Bucks Counties.

Our Impact

In 2023, Garden of Health Inc. made a significant difference by distributing over 500,000 pounds of fresh produce and providing emergency food assistance to 811 individuals, collaborating with over 60 hunger relief organizations in the region.
