The Garden Home Community Library was established in 1983 by dedicated local volunteers who repurposed leftover books from the closed Garden Home School. Officially becoming a nonprofit organization in 1994, the library joined the Washington County Cooperative Library Services in 1996, significantly enhancing its resources and community access.
