Our Story

Founded in 2008 by Patricia Johnson, Game Theory Academy has empowered over 4,000 youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. With the support of board members Namita Kamath and Debra Koffler, the organization transitioned to online classes in 2020, reaching youth across the nation.

Impact

Since 2009, Game Theory Academy has paid out over $320,000 in stipends to low-income students. An impressive 94% of graduates report that they stayed not just for the financial support, but for the invaluable skills they gained.
